Abstract

Abstract:- Modern times can surely be described as the digital age where anything and everything that could be computerized is being subjected such. In this digital era, even the classrooms have started to adapt to ICT use in order to meet the requirements of modern times and to salvage the shortcomings of traditional teaching model. There are three approaches of content presentation in LMS. The first one is objectivist approach, where the programmers/educators generally present content in such manner so learner can react on any event or action in pre decided or controlled manner, The action of pupil are highly controlled or we can say that those learning happened which actually educator wants. The second one is Constructivist Approach, where the LMS programmer/educators generally present content in such manner so learner can create his/her own knowledge, for this they follow the process of self learning and collaborative interaction with others. The third one is mixed approach, in this the instructional design proposes that an Instructional Design model reflects all learning theories according to Instructional Design situations. Different Instructional Design situations such as different learners and learning environments may requires different learning theories and thus different Instructional Design Model is needed.
