CAD BASED OPTIMIZATION OF SEAM WELDING PARAMETERS USING ANSYS DOE METHOD: RESULT & IMPLEMENTATION
AbstractABSTRACT The SEAM welding constraints are the most main factors affecting the quality, efficiency and price of welding. In this present work the impact of after welding constraints like length, width and thickness on weld strength, weld pool geometry of Medium Carbon Steel material during welding. By using DOE method, the limits can be optimize and taking the best parameters combination for mark quality. The analysis from DOE way can give the meaning of the limitations as it give effect to alteration of the quality and strong point of invention or does not. A plan of experiments constructed on Taguchi method takes have been used to obtain the data. An Orthogonal array and investigation of variance (ANOVA) are intricate to investigate the welding appearances of Medium Carbon Steel material and optimize the welding parameters.
